Botanical Name: Citrus limon

The scent of lemon brings to mind a sense of cleanliness and bright sunlight. Ancient cultures relied on lemon oil to treat infectious diseases and we still love to add this fruity scent to any of our blends when someone in the family is under the weather. Use Lemon oil to relieve exhaustion, improve concentration, or clean your yoga mat. 

Ritual: Finish your coffee, close the office door, diffuse some lemon oil and get to it Goddess. The natural essence and crisp aroma of our lemon essential oil is marvellously fresh. Diffuse this oil to uplift a sullen mood and inspire positive thinking. For diffusing, add 4-5 drops to your deDANU Glass or Stone diffuser. Start with the lowest number of drops; increase as desired.

Using Lemon Essential Oil For Cleaning

1. All-purpose cleaner: Add 20 drops of Lemon essential oil to a spray bottle filled with water and use it as an all-purpose cleaner for surfaces like countertops, sinks, and stovetops. Lemon essential oil has powerful antibacterial properties that make it effective at killing germs and bacteria.

2. Dishwasher cleaner: Add a few drops of Lemon essential oil to your dishwasher for a natural way to clean and deodorize it. The citric acid in Lemon essential oil helps to break down grease and grime, leaving your dishwasher sparkling clean.

3. Stain remover: Apply a few drops of Lemon essential oil to tough stains like grease, oil, or ink, and let it sit for a few minutes before washing. The natural cleaning properties of Lemon essential oil can help to break down the stain and make it easier to remove.

4. Air freshener: Add a few drops of Lemon essential oil to a diffuser to naturally freshen the air in your home. Lemon essential oil has a fresh and clean scent that can help to eliminate odors and improve indoor air quality.

5. Furniture polish: Mix a few drops of Lemon essential oil with a carrier oil like olive oil or coconut oil and use it as a natural furniture polish.
